Using A 9 Year Old... Have They no Shame?

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. (AP) – Shawn Turschak of Chapel Hill was tired of someone stealing McCain-Palin campaign signs from his yard. Turschak, with a degree in electrical engineering, hooked up a third sign to a power source for an electric pet fence Monday and also put up a surveillance camera.
The News & Observer of Raleigh reported that a 9-year-old boy with an Obama-Biden sign grabbed the McCain-Palin sign and got a jolt on Tuesday.

The boy’s father, Andrew Noble, upset that his son had been shocked, showed up at Turschak’s door. Soon an Orange County sheriff’s deputy also showed up at the Turschak’s home.

Noble said his son just wanted to see how the sign was put together. Turschak said the boy intended to swap out the signs.

The Radio Factor: Bill Pulls a Nutty!

September 26, 2008

O’REILLY: I do talk radio and most talk radio is conservative dominated, ideologues, Kool-Aid drinking idiots, idiots. Screaming at you, ‘this is socialism,’ this is this, that is that, ‘it’s Clinton’s fault.” It’s Clinton’s fault? When he hasn’t been in office in eight years.
It’s Bush’s fault, it happened on Bush’s watch. You know, Bush could have prevented this.

Bill, Bill, Bill… Bill Clinton himself, admitted on Good Morning America that his own party (Democrats) were resisting changes:

Going very much against the media meme that the current financial crisis is all George W. Bush and the Republicans’ fault, Bill Clinton on Thursday told ABC’s Chris Cuomo that Democrats for years have been “resisting any efforts by Republicans in the Congress or by me when I was President to put some standards and tighten up a little on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac”  (NewsBusters)

Bill, Bill, Bill, Stop being such a SP and so testy because the guy with the “Big Cigar” & “Private Jet” got this one right (as usual).

No Prompting Necessary to Support McCain/Palin

Did you here the one about the guy who brought a Teleprompter to the Rodeo?

Did you here the one about the guy who brought a Teleprompter to the Rodeo?

For the record, when you deliver a major speech such as the “State of the Union”, or a nationally televised acceptance speech from a Greek Temple, people use a teleprompter. But when you speak from the heart, often you don’t need a written speech. When you know the subject matter and believe what you are saying because it is from your core, you may occasionally, rely on some notes. But when you simply read words, you need to be reminded what is is you are actually reading. You have to stick to the script, you use a teleprompter.

Last time I was at a rodeo, I didn’t see anyone using a teleprompter. But BHO relied on his best friend at his speech reading at the Colorado Stat Fair yesterday. The irony of BHO at a rodeo vs. Rodeo Drive is stunning. Of course, there are a lot clowns & a lot of Bull$#!+ at a rodeo so it may be appropriate after all. But here’s the point. The “Fluff” V. P. Republician Candidate, according a supporter at a Joe Biden Rally in Michigan (I believe they were meeting in a phone booth), did not need to rely on a teleprompter when she made her acceptance speech at the RNC:

Sarah Palin electrified the Republican convention Wednesday, all the while reading off a faulty teleprompter and an outdated draft, John McCain officials told FOX News on Thursday. The Alaska governor overcame several glitches and technical problems to deliver her speech without getting flustered, impressing McCain and his staff and allowing them to breathe a sigh of relief. (FoxNews)

She spoke from her heart, they were her words (Yes, she had a speech writer, all of them do) but she delivered. I don’t know who is advising BHO & Joe, (I guess I would need to see the credit roll on his teleprompter screen) but they are B league at best. You don’t ask paralyzed State Senators to “Stand-up”, you don’t run ads about McCain mocking his inability to “send emails” (5-1/2 years of torture while a POW serving His country resulted in damage to his extremities), you don’t take a teleprompter to a rodeo. And you sure don’t wear a Cowboy Hat when your from Chicago…

Welcome our new...

Welcome our new...Sheriff?

Barack O-Nada

September 3, 2008

Well, leave it to an in your face New Yorker like Rudy Giuliani to call it like it really is… BHO has never been a leader, never run anything he seldom even voted.  While a state legislator in Illinois voted “Present” more times than anything else.  “Present” is not Presidential. You don’t get to simply show up in the Oval Office and just let people know you are there through photo opps and prepared speeches.  You have to make decisions and do more than just show up.

John McCain has been tested through tough times, he is ready to make the tough decisions on day one.  And how dare the dems say that Sarah Palin has no experience! She did more than organize her community, she ran it!  So BHO & Joe better buckle up because it’s gonna be a bumpy ride.

When you have a presidential candidate that is mostly known for being simply “Present” & a V.P. candidate that seems to have a problem with acknowledging the words of others, it’s easy to see why they fear two strong, individuals like John McCain & Sarah Palin.  Barack O-Nada, I can’t thing of a better name for him.

And in Case you Missed it, Here is Newt B-Slapping MSNBC’s Ron Allen … It’s worth it!

Storming the Beach...Tour of Duty

While vacationing in Hawaii, Sen. Barack Obama was informed by one of his foreign policy advisers that “Georgia has been attacked by Russia.”  They were troubled when he asked them “How President Carter and his friends at CNN were doing in light of these shocking developments”…

“I know Senator McCain has a lifetime of experience he will bring to the White House. And Senator Obama has a speech he gave in 2002,”  Hillary Clinton, CNN Interview, March 5, 2008

A Posion Penn Letter…

April 6, 2008

The man Behind the Candidate who is behind

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) – Mark Penn, the pollster and senior strategist for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential bid, left the campaign Sunday after it was disclosed he met with representatives of the Colombian government to help promote a free trade agreement Clinton opposes.

“After the events of the last few days, Mark Penn has asked to give up his role as chief strategist of the Clinton Campaign,” campaign manager Maggie Williams said in a statement released Sunday. “Mark, and Penn, Schoen and Berland Associates, Inc. will continue to provide polling and advice to the campaign.”…  It was the second major departure of a Clinton campaign official this year. In February, Patti Solis Doyle stepped down as campaign manager and was replaced by Williams.

The role of a senior strategist is to find ways to help their candidate improve their position with voters not make the news be about themselves.  Mark Penn has had a habit of letting the media spotlight shine on him sometimes more than HRC, and this time, it resulted in a demotion.  Keep in mind, HRC has already paid Penn over $12,000,000 for his services, I’m sure his new position will cut his billing rate, I know we all hope he can survive on that new lower rate.

Remember, Mark Penn is the man behind the women who is behind Barack H. Obama and now he has taken a step back himself.  For the Clinton Campaign, I guess this is considered progress.
