Imagine If Pres. Bush Said…

“So I have known Christianity on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Christians must be based on what Christianity is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Christianity wherever they appear.”

BHO Egypt HonorYet, when the Defender in Chief  utters the following in Cairo this morning:

So I have known Islam on three continents before coming to the region where it was first revealed. That experience guides my conviction that partnership between America and Islam must be based on what Islam is, not what it isn’t. And I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.

I just am amazed at the Double Standard that exists…

And in case you thought that you were not paying attention to the Oath that Barack Hussein Obama took on 1/20/09… Here it is:

“I, Barack Hussein Obama, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States, and I will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

I missed that part about Defending Islam Stereotypes…

NOTE: A wise friend of mine offered this interpretation… By claiming America’s alliance with the moderate Islam elements, he has essentially told Iran, we (and Israel) are justified in what we will be doing to you when you cross the line in the sand (as it were).  I hope that is the case, and I pray that the Obama State Department has that level of insight to actually mean what my friend has concluded.
